Halfords Cycle2work is an HMRC approved salary sacrifice initiative allowing staff to hire a bicycle and accessories from their employer for the purpose of cycling to work. Staff members gain ownership of the bikes at the end of the 12 or 18 month period.
The scheme is free of Tax and National Insurance which means you can make savings whilst keeping fit, reducing your carbon footprint and spending less time in your car.
This is replacing the previous cycle scheme and provides more flexible options of both 12 and 18 month pay-back schemes.
Halfords offer a wide range of bikes, many of which can be viewed at www.halfords.com. If you would like a model not in the Halfords range you can also contact the cycle2work helpline on 08450 778850.
