The University will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver courses in accordance with the descriptions set out on this website. However, the University does not provide education to UK students on a commercial basis. It is also very largely dependent upon charitable and public funds, which the University has to manage in a way which is efficient and cost-effective, in the context of the provision of a diverse range of courses to a large number of students.

Changes to schemes of study

The information given on this website is believed correct at the time of publication, but the University reserves the right, at its discretion, at any time and for any reason, to make changes to the services offered by the University and set out on this website without prior notice including, but not limited to, the following:

  • not to offer a scheme of study which fails to recruit the minimum number required by regulation; or

  • to make changes to syllabuses and courses for reasons including meeting technological or academic developments or employers’ requirements particularly in specialist options in the Final Year; or

  • not to offer options, specialisms or elective courses within a scheme of study, where there is insufficient student demand.

Provision of services and campus locations

The campus locations and faculty structures for different study areas given throughout this website are believed correct at the time of publication. However, during a period of expansion and change or for administrative reasons, it may be necessary to review policies or in a small minority of cases relocate particular activities; students affected by any such change will be notified by the University as soon as is possible in advance. You are advised to contact the University if you need clarification of particular issues.

Contractual liability

The University reserves the right to change without notice any information about its provisions contained on this website including (but without limitation) fees, or any rule or regulation pertaining to the standards for admission to, the requirements for the continuation of study in, and the requirements for the granting of degrees or diplomas in, any or all of its programmes of study. The publication of information on this website does not bind the University to the provision of programmes of study or course modules, or other facilities as listed herein.
