The CSC has achieved an important breakthrough in having 3 peer reviewed papers accepted for the prestigious Association for European Transport held in Frankfurt on 30 September - 2 October at the Campus Westend, Goethe Universität, Frankfurt, Germany.
Philip Waters, Professor Austin Smyth & Dr Keith Bevis successfully presented the papers on behalf of the Centre and its Associates, to leading practitioners who came from all over Europe.

They led debates on the following topics:
- Bus Rapid Transit - A call for clarity and rigour in appraising bus transit based transit (Austin Smyth, Bob Miller)
- Plugging the Gap - addressing resistance to adoption of electric vehicles (Keith Bevis, Austin Smyth, Sue Walsh)
- Delivering a Sustainable and Integrated Bus Network in a De-Regulated Environment (Philip Waters, Richard Southern, Scott Copsey, John Elliott)
